THREE TIMES THREE GLASSES!
This time we’re truly speechless! Such a small DOC, which in 2007 was on the verge of disappearing, has managed to earn the prestigious Tre Bicchieri (Three Glasses) award from Gambero Rosso for three consecutive vintages!
In addition to the Tre Bicchieri for the San Martino della Battaglia 2024, Gambero Rosso also awarded our Lugana Riserva Menasasso 2021 and Lume Passito with 2 Red Glasses — meaning both wines reached the finals for the Tre Bicchieri.
Out of 172 Lombard wineries featured in the guide, 34 received the Tre Bicchieri award, and only two—besides us—had three wines reach the finals.

2025 Harvest
The 2025 vintage was marked by an average summer and a fairly mild autumn. Yields were slightly lower than usual, but the quality is high. It was also one of the fastest harvests in recent years: it began at the end of August and ended by late September, due to the constant alternation of rain and sunshine that accelerated the ripening of the grapes. We’re now waiting for all the leaves to fall before starting the winter pruning.
